Description

Recipe from Nordic Ware.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray the beehive pan with oil.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the ingredients together.
  3. Pour the batter equally into the prepared pan, reserving half of the batter for the second batch.
  4. Bake 14-18 minutes or until a toothpick stuck into the center comes out clean.
  5. Turn out the cakes and repeat baking with the second batch.
