Dressed Up Holiday Shortbread Cookies How-To

You will need:

• Store-bought Shortbread Cookies or homemade recipe
• Pastillage Glitter Snowflakes
• Icing Christmas Assortment
• 1-2 bags Royal Icing Mix for decorating cookies and affixing decorations
• Squeeze Bottles
• Assorted gel food colors (your preference)

Instructions:

1. Lay shortbread cookies out on a piece of wax or parchment paper on your counter.
2. Prepare royal icing mix. Dye desired colors and pour into squeeze bottles.
3. Decorate a base layer of royal icing onto each shortbread cookie. Let dry for about 1-2 minutes before adding the Pastillage Glitter Snowflakes and Royal Icing Christmas Decorations. Slightly push each decoration into the icing. Let dry for about 4 hours or overnight.
4. Serve and store in an airtight container.
