Description

You Will Need:

  • Make Your Own Vintage Wedding Picks
  • White Filigree Cupcake Wrappers
  • Cupcake recipe of your choice
  • 4mm Ivory Edible Pearls
  • Icing or frosting recipe of your choice
  • Small craft scissors
  • Craft glue or glue stick
  • Toothpicks

Instructions:

  1. Make the cupcake recipe. Bake and cool as directed. Frost the cupcakes as desired.
  2. Carefully cut out the card stock image using craft scissors. Assemble the image onto picks by gluing the card stock figures back-to-back with a toothpick in between.
  3. Let the assembled picks dry on a piece of wax or parchment paper. Add cake jewels or other sequins to the figures using additional craft glue for an extra special touch.
  4. Sprinkle the cupcakes with ivory edible pearls if desired.
  5. Place all of the cupcakes on a tray or wherever they will be stored. Adhere each pick to the top of each frosted cupcake by slightly sticking it into the frosting to hold it in place.
  6. Store the cupcakes in an airtight container.
