This Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake Mix is perfect for making pies, tarts, and filled pastries. This simple mix requires only the the addition of milk and cream cheese, 10 minutes of prep time, and a prepared pie crust to make a fabulous dessert that anyone will love. The silky-smooth mousse style cheesecake filling offers rich and creamy chocolate flavor and is made using Dutch-processed cocoa. This easy to prepare powdered chocolate cheesecake pie filling can be used with premade or homemade pie and tart crusts as well as eclairs and other filled pastries. The creamy texture and delicious chocolate flavor will make this easy to prepare powdered mix a staple in any pantry.
Ingredients: Powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), chocolate pudding (sugar, dextrose, modified food starch, Dutch-processed cocoa, sodium phosphates, calcium sulfate, caramel, color, salt, silicon dioxide, artificial flavor, mono and diglycerides, red 40), whipped topping (sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (coconut and palm kernel oils), whey (from milk), modified cornstarch, propylene glycol monostearate, sodium caseinate, methylcellulose, acetylated monoglycerides, mono-and diglycerides, cellulose gel, cellulose gum, sodium silicoaluminate (anticaking agent), natural and artificial flavor, yellow 5, yellow 6) and baking cocoa. Contains a milk ingredient. Contains bioengineered food ingredients.
BASIC PREPARATION: To fill (1) 9" pie crust (8 servings) use:
- 7 ounces Chocolate Cheesecake Mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 9" pie crust
DIRECTIONS:
- Beat Chocolate Cheesecake Mix and milk on medium-high speed in mixing bowl until very soft peaks form (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add cream cheese and continue beating several minutes on a higher speed until mixture is smooth and fluffy.
- Spoon into desired pie crust, cover, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve cold. Top with whipped topping as desired.
