You Will Need:
- Gingerbread Cottage Cookie Mold
- Fluted Round Cookie Cutter
- Delight Modeling Compound
- Cornstarch
- Straw
- Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Ribbon
Instructions:
- Make a casting from Paperclay or Delight. Knead the selected material into a solid mass and with a rolling pin, roll the material about 1/2 inch thick on a flat surface brushed with cornstarch.
- Brush the cookie mold with cornstarch. Press the mold firmly and straight down into the Delight or Paperclay. Lift the mold straight up.
- Cut the casting with a fluted round cutter and make a small hole with a straw. Place it on a cookie rack to dry.
- Repeat the process, making the desired number of castings. Let them dry for approximately 24 hours.
- Paint the castings as desired.
- When dry, add a ribbon and tie it onto a bow on a cookie tin, a gift bag, or a box. Alternatively, you can make a charming ornament with either Delight or PaperClay.
