Description
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp. rum
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 large pinch of baking powder
- 1 tsp. cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp. milk
Instructions:
- Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and rum. Gradually add the eggs.
- Fold in the flour and baking powder. Take away about half of the mixture and mix it with cocoa and milk.
- Grease the mold with baking spray or butter. The molds used are the Regular Silicone Leaf Cake Mold or the Mini Silicone Leaf Cake Mold. (Please note that the Silicone Leaf Cake Molds may no longer be in stock.)
- Put the light-colored dough and the dark-colored dough into separate piping bags and alternately pipe a light and then a dark amount into the mold until the dough is used up.
- Bake in a preheated oven (top and bottom heat 395°F/fan oven 350°F; middle rack) for approximately 25 minutes.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the mold after baking for approximately 10 minutes. Then remove from the mold and allow them to cool thoroughly on a wire cake rack. Decorate to taste.
