Description
You will need:
- Royal Icing White Poinsettias
- Royal Icing Leaves
- Orchid Pink Luster Dust
- White Cupcake Liners
- 1 lb. bag shredded coconut
- Small craft paintbrush
- Your favorite holiday cupcake recipe and buttercream icing recipe
Instructions:
- Bake cupcakes in muffin tins. Let cool.
- While cupcakes are cooling, prepare your icing. In a separate bowl, fill with the coconut.
- Lay out the royal icing poinsettias on a sheet of parchment paper. Using your craft brush, "paint" a thin layer of the luster dust on each poinsettia to give it a pink glow.
- Ice each cupcake and then immediately dunk each cupcake in the bowl of coconut - using your fingers to press the coconut into the icing.
- Affix two royal icing leaves to each cupcake, leaving room in the center for the poinsettia.
- Using additional icing (if needed), attach the icing poinsettia to the center of each cupcake.
- Let set and store in an airtight container.
