Granulated Orange Peel

Granulated Orange Peel by OliveNation is a convenient way to have orange peel on hand at all times. You never know when a recipe will call for it. Our Granulated Orange Peel is the grated zest of oranges, except we do the work of grating oranges for you. It adds bright citrusy flavor to sweet and savory dishes. Try adding Granulated Orange Peel to breads, pies, cookies, flan, cheesecake, and other desserts. It's especially tasty in chocolate fudge (try the recipe below). Orange peel can also flavor marinades, vinaigrettes, beverages, rice, and more. This product is gluten-free, non-GMO, and kosher.

• 2 1/2 cups Semi Sweet Chocolate
• 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
• 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
• 2 teaspoons Granulated/Grated Orange peel

1. Line an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with wax paper, parchment paper, or foil.
2. Melt chocolate  with condensed milk in a double boiler over low heat. This step can also be done in a microwave. 
3. Stir mixture until smooth. 
4. Remove from heat and stir in walnuts and orange peel. 
5. Pour mixture into the pan. 
6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. 
7. Cut into 16 squares, 12 if you prefer larger bars. 
8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
