These round stoneware pie weights are a must for blind-baking pie crusts and shells. Each resealable package contains 1.5 pounds of 0.05 ounce unglazed ceramic balls that make it easy to fill the bottom of any size pie crust. Use these natural stoneware pie weights to keep the bottom of unbaked pie shells to eliminate air bubbles or pockets, shrinking, and buckling. Blind baking is a must for ensuring that parbaked crusts crisp evenly and helps prevent soggy bottoms. These natural pie weights are great with frozen, ready-to-use, or homemade from scratch pie crusts. The ceramic material and small 0.375" size of each weight helps heat transfer evenly so crusts crisp perfectly.

To use, place raw pie crust into baking pan and line with parchment paper. Fill the crust with weights in a single layer, and bake pie crust according to the recipe. Allow pie weights to cool completely before removing them from the parbaked crust prior to filling.

Care: Hand wash without soap in warm water and air dry completely before storing. Heat safe to 480 degrees Fahrenheit. Includes a convenient reusable storage container.
