Ingredients:
- - 1 (13.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
- - 4 eggs
- - 3/4 cup sour cream
- - 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- - 1/4 cup water
- - 1/2 cup sugar
- - 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour pan; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oil, water, sugar, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping the bowl often.
- Remove one-third of the batter and place it in a small bowl; set aside the remaining batter.
- Stir melted chocolate into the batter in the small bowl.
- Spoon half of the vanilla batter and half of the chocolate batter into the prepared pan. Using a small spatula, gently swirl the batters together.
- Spoon the remaining batters into the pan and swirl again.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then invert onto a cooling rack and cool the cake completely.
- Decorate as desired.
