Description

Use with our Mini Madeleine Silicone Mold. Recipe from Lékué'.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 7 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp orange flower water
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. Beat the eggs with the sugar in the bowl of a mixer fitted with the whisk attachment until thick and pale in color.
  4. Gently fold the flour mixture into the eggs. Then carefully fold in the melted butter and the orange flower water.
  5. Divide the batter between the cavities of the mold. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Unmold the cakes and serve them while still warm.

TIP: If you prefer a softer texture, refrigerate the madeleines before serving.
