Use with our Mini Madeleine Silicone Mold. Recipe from Lékué'.
Ingredients:- 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp sugar
- 7 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp orange flower water
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar in the bowl of a mixer fitted with the whisk attachment until thick and pale in color.
- Gently fold the flour mixture into the eggs. Then carefully fold in the melted butter and the orange flower water.
- Divide the batter between the cavities of the mold. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Unmold the cakes and serve them while still warm.
TIP: If you prefer a softer texture, refrigerate the madeleines before serving.
